It is important to know about the political process as without knowledge of the political process, we don't have knowledge of how our politicians are best representing us and best attempting to achieve the goals we set.

Drug use is, as in many electorates a massive issue that is currently affecting the youth in our area, both through their own drug use and the exposure to family drug use. Mental Health Services also severely lack and are exposed very little.

Lockyer is uniquely possitioned. The cities of Toowoomba and Brisbane are close by but we need to be looking at public transport options out of the Gatton/Lockyer Valley into these areas.
